About the Photographer
I am a freelance landscape, portrait and commercial photographer, currently based in, but not restricted to, Edmonton, Alberta. I love visiting new places and capturing those places' beauty on my camera. Whether it's traveling for 2 months across the western United States, or taking a day or so to visit a new area near my home, I have a true passion for nature and the great outdoors.
Being fully self-taught has allowed me to learn a great deal of techniques and methods from many different photographers and sources (such as the internet, magazines, etc), and I have been shooting photos professionally for two years (with many years practice, of course).
My camera case consists of the following gear: Nikon d200 camera body, Nikkor 60mm f2.8 Macro lens, Nikkor 18-70mm f4.5-5.6 lens and Nikon SB-600 flash. It sure does not take a huge amount of money to be able to take stunning photographs of the world that surrounds us.
